Employees from Mt. SAC's Police & Campus Safety Department have "joined forces" to create this award. They fund the scholarship through monthly deductions from their paychecks. This award is for a student who is transferring to a 4-year school in the fall after completing their education at Mt. SAC and will be pursuing a career in a public safety field.
