Director of Government Relations
I am a huge fan of the Community College system having earned an A.A. from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. That allowed me to be accepted to U. C. Santa Barbara where I received a B.A. in Political Science. I have been Foothill Transit’s Director of Government Relations since 2002, serving as the system’s chief government liaison, responsible for establishing and maintaining legislative relationships, tracking transit-related legislation, obtaining the maximum amount of federal, state and local funding and informing stakeholders of pending governmental developments. I am most proud of being the best Dad I can be to my son Max.
Why Mt. SAC?
It an honor to serve Mt. SAC in this capacity. Mt. SAC has provided thousands of students an opportunity to gain the necessary education to move on to a four year university and/or to a rewarding career. The Foundation has provided the financial assistance necessary for so many to make these dreams come true. It is a pleasure to work with my colleagues on the Foundation Board, College Leadership and Board staff that are truly committed to making the education and campus experience the students receive, the best it can possibly be.
